(PMP)® Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the PMP certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission.

High school diploma, 60 months of project management experience, and 35 hours of project management education/training

Bachelor’s degree, 36 months of project management experience, and 35 hours of project management education/training  

Bachelor’s degree from a GAC-accredited program, 24 months of project management experience, and 35 hours of project management education/training.

Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®

What is Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®?

The CAPM® is an entry-level certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) that shows you understand the fundamentals of project management. It’s designed for students, fresh graduates, and early-career professionals who want to build credibility, strengthen project skills, and take the first step toward a career in project management or the PMP® certification.

(CAPM)® Eligibility Requirements

A minimum of a secondary school qualification, such as Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or an equivalent (e.g., SKM Level 3 certificate or other recognized local/international qualifications). Fresh Grads are encourage to apply!)

Completion of at least 23 contact hours of formal project management education or training prior to the exam. This requirement may also be fulfilled through structured training programmes offered by recognised institutions or training providers.
